GL STRAND x Tee Salon: Selma de Montgomery

Please join us for the final edition of Tee Salon, featuring the event's main character, Selma de Montgomery.

16.11.23

kl. 17:00 - 18:30

On Thursday, November 16th, GL STRAND will host the sixth and last Tee Salon, marking the conclusion of this unique professional, social, and cultural experiment that Tee Salon has represented. The concept was originally designed as a temporary collaboration spanning art, literature, design, fashion, photography, and politics, all sharing a mutual interest in exploring the concept of heroes and heroines and their contemporary significance.

Up to this point, our heroes and heroines have been drawn from the past, ranging from Allen Ginsberg to Vivienne Westwood. However, in this final edition, our focus shifts to a very much alive and relevant heroine: Selma de Montgomery from Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse. As a result, this Tee Salon will differ from the previous ones. While Marie Schjeldal from Fallucka will continue to moderate the discussion, and Uffe Elbæk remains a consistent participant, this time, we will engage in a conversation with our heroine, Selma herself, rather than just discussing her.

Later in the discussion, we will be joined by Lene Renner from sur le chemin and Nanna Hjortenberg from GL STRAND to thoughtfully conclude the experiment that Tee Salon has been for all those involved.

The event is open to the public, and no reservations are required.
