Me and my avatar
“Me and my Avatar” is a workshop for children and their adults that approach the concept “Avatar” in both an analog and digital perspective. First, we talk about what an Avatar is, and where we see them. Then we shape the same figures in clay, which we afterwards 3D-scan so we can see them on the computer. All the children are given the opportunity for a hands-on attempt to 3D-scan their own figures. The digital Avatar goes home with them via e-mail after the workshop is over.
The workshop is headed by the visual artist Line Finderup Jensen, who graduated from the Academy of Art in Vienna (2019) specialising in video and animation.
The workshop targets children aged 6-10.
Participation costs per child: DKK 35 / Per adult: ordinary admission to the exhibitions. The event requires registration. The price includes admission to the exhibition.
Each adult may participate with up to three children.
